1.  Log in to kurs.brannportal.no. You will then be taken directly to the course overview.
2. Click on the course you want to take.
3. Select a module and theme
4. Watch the video first, then answer the questions by selecting the answer option(s) you think are correct and clicking “Submit Answers” or “Finish Quiz.” You will then receive feedback on whether your answers were correct or incorrect, along with a detailed explanation.
5. Once you have submitted your answer, you can proceed to the next topic by clicking “Continue” below the answer, or by using the course overview on the right (PC/Mac) or below the question (mobile).

Go to "My Courses " in the menu. You will then see an overview of the courses you are enrolled in.

Don't see any courses? You may not yet be part of a group that has been assigned a course.

Yes, your progress will be automatically saved as you complete each topic. This means you can log in and continue the course at a later time without having to start over from the beginning.

In most courses, you must answer all questions correctly to pass the course. If you answer a question incorrectly, you will have the opportunity to try again. There is no limit to the number of times you can attempt a question.

You can turn on Norwegian or English subtitles by clicking CC in the video player.

You can change the language for the entire website by clicking either the Norwegian or English flag in the top right corner of the page.

Subtitles for the video must be adjusted within the video player itself. You can do this by tapping "CC" next to the volume button on the video.

Once you have completed a course, you will not be able to submit answers again until the course has been reset. Courses are typically reset at the end of the year. You can still go back and watch the video content again at any time after completing the course.

In most workplaces with a high fire risk, employees are required to take the course once a year. Therefore, you should log in to our course portal to take the course once a year.

Some workplaces may have different procedures and requirements, so please ask your supervisor or department head.
